An innovative research and development project demonstrating the feasibility of
fiber-to-fiber recycling in polyester sportswear manufacturing.
Project Development
This initiative represents a collaborative effort to recover polyester textile waste from
sports apparel such as team uniforms and transform it into new high-quality fibers. The
project focuses on developing advanced recycling technologies that can process post-consumer
textile waste into materials suitable for performance sportswear production.
Key Manufacturing Outcomes
The project has successfully developed recycling methods that blend granules from recycled
bottles with granules from recycled fabric polyester. This innovative approach allows for
gradual optimization of the recycling process, ultimately producing yarn made entirely from
recovered textile waste while maintaining technical performance standards.
Industrial Application & Production
As this circular system moves toward industrialization, it will enable the production of
garments from recycled polyester that can be recycled again at the end of their life cycle.
This represents a significant advancement in sustainable manufacturing practices for the
sportswear industry.
This research has introduced a new recycling methodology that enables the recovery of
high-quality polyester fibers from used clothing, establishing a genuine textile "closed
loop" system. Specialized sorting processes support the project's aim to develop a scalable
industrial manufacturing process.
"Developing sustainable manufacturing solutions is central to our business strategy.
We're committed to utilizing textile waste recovery knowledge to create innovative,
high-performing, and environmentally responsible products," highlights our R&D
team.
"In recent years, we have prioritized environmental responsibility, implementing
significant measures to reduce our ecological footprint. The fiber-to-fiber recovery
process represents a major advancement in our sustainability efforts, enabling us to
establish a complete closed-loop system that benefits both our clients and the
manufacturing industry," says Cindra Management.
"Recycling holds tremendous potential in the textile manufacturing sector. We believe
recycling will soon become standard practice across the industry. This project
represents a significant step toward more sustainable textile production methods that
can be adopted globally," shares our technical partners.
This project demonstrates the feasibility of circular economy principles in textile
manufacturing, showing how materials previously considered waste can be repurposed to reduce
environmental impact. This achievement highlights how collaborative expertise can advance
environmental protection while building a foundation for circular manufacturing practices.
